Alfalfa is a very valuable perennial grass. It grows back quickly after mowing. With proper agricultural technology, it produces high yields of green mass and hay, enriched with protein, vitamins and minerals. The high feed value of alfalfa is combined with its high productivity. It grows back quickly: 3-4 times during the growing season

The variety was bred by the method of free cross-pollination of alfalfa Veselopodolyanska 11 with other alfalfas in breeding crops and repeated mass selection;
It belongs to the variable alfalfa - Medicado L. Plants are 70-115 cm high, and in conditions of sufficient moisture supply - 155 cm and higher;
Beans are dark, spiral (80-90%) and sickle-shaped with 0.5-3 turns of the spiral. Seeds are light yellow, kidney-shaped;

The yield of green mass is 435-500 c/ha, hay is 110 c/ha, and seeds are 5-7 c/ha.

Height 56-110 cm, in conditions with sufficient moisture supply the length reaches 150 cm and above, the stem is 1.0-1.4 mm thick, pubescent with short hairs. The average number of internodes is 20, the bush is sprawling. The first mowing for hay is in 61-80 days.
Yield: 2.5-5.6 centners/hectare. Listed in the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine and Kazakhstan in 1960.
